Been awhile since i last updated my blog! i'm getting lazier. not that i;m lazier but i'm really working my weekends off . always been packed with endless of activties on my offdays! i really love my weekends here. Endless of nice places to visit ! Scenic drive! The best thing abt owning a car here, can drive to wherever i wan to any time.

Last weekend was a long trekking trip at downtown.
We walked from Powell stn to Chinatown-fisherman wharfs then bk to market street where powell stn is. The Chinatown is the world oldest . it has existed for 100 over years.. which is why the street is pretty dirty. we had our first Chinese food there. After chinese food, we strolled( in the end)to fisherman wharf to have clam chowder. Finally i satisfied my craving for clam chowder after i tried it at Seattle;s fisherman;s wharf. Cool!

I was doing my online courses in the computer lab. Got bored of it and took out my camera to capture the fascinating view out of the building. Do ya notice small house up the hilly slope? yeah SF was once a mountainous area

It;s the 2nd week in South San Francisco. Alot of intensive online training and orientation.

Genentech business logo: Business for life.

Just by spending two week here, i learn that everyones who works in Genentech are so proud of being in a life-savings company. The company has their own research team to continuously create new product to save patient's life. Ive heard stories from fellow colleagues abt their friends and relatives who ;s life was dependent on genentech;s products. Rather genentech ;s product saved their life! it;s just amazing that the company is capable of doing that.
Besides, genentech has extremely good welfare and incentives which was why they were the number one US company to work in last year ( google took over this year, gene dipped to 2nd place) One fabulous facility that they have was the gym house. The gym house gives free mineral water bottle and fruits like apples/pear. Besides, there;s free salsa, cardio , palates, hip hop dance classes. The trainers at the gym house was experienced and helpful. One trainer guided me with hamstring workout since i jog alot which dominates my quads. The work out was all totally different from what i have done in sg. the equipments are all brand new.
After gym work out, it was perfect for a steam bath and sauna in the bath room.
When we ready to go, the shuttle from Marriott will pick us up from genentech.
it;s jus too comfortable .. shuttle to pick and bring us to work. Genentech is giving marriott is alot business as there;s always guest from genentech.

i guess i did the right choice to come here. Get to know ppl from diff background. Most of them are PHD or master students. The lead researchers in the lab are mostly renowned scientist in the biotech field.
The campus is located js next to the bay with hills in font. There are 40 over buildings . The campus is so big that ya needa take a shuttle to commute from one building to the other.
Ya could have a beauitful view of the highway and hills. Check out the picture below

Finally after months of anticipations, i am in San Francisco now. The weather is perfect with the scorching sun and the chilling temperature. There are alot more things to explore here but what more important is settling in.. first month we are staying in marriot residence inn with one person to a suite. Pretty cosy suite like a mini studio..there will be a company bus that pick us up from inn to the facility and bk to our inn.Complementary breakfast and dinner for the first month, subsequently we will be staying in rented apartments and going to work on our own..foresee that i could be cycling or taking a bus or driving if ive decided to get a car.

Indeed there are alot of stuffs to settle.. opening a bank a/c, get a social security no.. check out apt etc.. but well chill!
Later we are going sightseeing at downtown San Francisco.. It;s a tour organized by the Inn. Looking forward to it. I should jus take a nap first since i;m up at 3am today! Will update this blog with more photos soon!

Last two weeks in Singapore

Finally, after months of waiting, VISA application;s almost done.It; a long wait. i applied for the program in June. Accepted the offer in July. All administrative stuffs takes months to process. Thats how troublesome it is to work in US. But well.. i should not be complaining since it is a great long vacation before i start working officially after 18yrs of educations. heh..

Upcoming will be my departure to San Francisco. It;s pretty much confirmed. I will be flying off on 3rd Nov 2007. 7am flight. Flights that goes to US or Canada are always at such weird timing! So early.. although it;s a Saturday but it will be nasty for my friends to wake up so early to send me off!

Finally i could start work. feel like my brain has stagnant ever since my last exam. I look forward to work ..

The whole group of them. Ya notice the black bag carried by liefeng? it was suppose to be a present for me. Liefeng hopped in front of me a few times.. hoping that i will take notice of it! haha but i was a like blind lady! i only realized it till leifeng to pass it to me as he pretends that he needa go washroom and need me to look after it.. When i held on to the bag..i see some resemblances to the Karrimor bag that i wanted to get from queensway! haha .. BINGO.. it;s my present from them!

It was a great suprise birthday dinner at Fish & CO last night ! I was really touched that chris and gang all could turn up. Xj created so much suspense for the past two weeks... So it was the secret planning to get all the guys to turn up at Fish and Co .

1st Oct-- I was the chicken little mascot for Children;s day celebration.
Cute chicken little for the kids while i was suffocating and almost breathless with that huge head cover. =(

6th Oct ----> Attending ExxonMobil ex- colleague's wedding

7th Oct -----> 23years after my first cry in this universe! A day i am looking forward. Xj created so much suspense and climate for the past few weeks... make me wonder what will happen on that day! Usual routine.. we're going swimming first in the morning before any suprises are executed ! heh ..Feeling *blissed*

12th Oct-----> Removal of my widsom tooth... Yikes..I hope the dentist will do a great job! No good food after that for few days!

15th OCt-----> US Visa application-meet up with the agency

18th Oct-----> Xj's birthday! heh.. i am still planning on it.=)

21th & 27th--> last two weekends in singapore! Meet up with friends!

The Acer labtop that ive only used for close to 2yrs jus died on me!!!!! boooo..................
Cant blame anyone but myself for getting Acer cos it only offers one year warranty ( i did not top up 250 for the extended warranty =( Repair cost $640 for replacement of VGA &motherboard.
NOw i leart my mistake .. i';m gona get a labtop with one year international warranty follow by 2 yrs local warranty.!

Yup only consolation is that it crashed before i left for US. Else i will be in deep shit! Darn...

I am still in the midst of US Visa application ! I guess the earliest i can depart is in END oct . Yay! i can celebrate dear;s and my birthday in singapore this year. ( but not next year! )

How to make my free time more constructive?
I have decided to give my blog a makeover! haha i realized my blog is the ugliest around. Ugle background, no link to friend;s blog. I just found out from xj that it aactually takes so much effort to have a nice blog. Meddling with the HTML etc.. Mayb cos i;m new to it which is why i;m complaining now! haha.. i just changed my template and my tag board is gone! alamak.. haha but no worries.. will get it back soon....with some help.

My Next path

After much hesistations, i have decided to take up the trainee program in San Francisco!
I will be working for Genentech for 12mths. Supposedly it should be be 18mth. but under the new rule of US fresh grad's VISA are only entitled to 12mths. Glad that they have such rule as 12mths is just nice a period for me, i prolly find 18mth too long!

This trip is definitely a differnt experience from my canada exchange. I will be staying in rented apartment/houses (doing own cooking)unlike in WCRI where food for three meals were readily available. No more of crazy drinking games ! haha. This time is serious business. TO work as a manufacturing trainee in the pharmaceutical industry. I foresee alot of challenges like... cooking ( i sux at it! time to learn from my maid) , working in a foreign country with the US ppl, Good/bad roomie/housemate etc ... many many more which i will update when i;m there! heh

i should be flying off in mid oct earlier.. needa do medical check up.. visa processing etc which willl take 4-6 week from now.
yup i;m glad that i could spend my 23th Birthday in singapore! yeah! heh..

I;m excited abt both work and life in San fran! travelling is def part of my weekend plans. heh
My roomie also promised that she die die will visit me! We hope to meet up with our WCRi peeps and have another reunion trip ! yup that willbe the future plans.
As for now, i needa do medical check up, find good roomie, housing near my company etc.. settle contract issues etc...
heh i;m still pretty free ! will continue to slack till the day i fly off!

Highlight of our grad trip:
We met up with our korea friend ,Qha ! So coincident that he stays at Sincheon too. His gf and buddies came joined us for drinking and clubbing. We played local korean drinking games and had LOTS of laughters and fun cos we were all trying to converse in English. After drinking, we went to a hip hop club-TRAIN. Our frez is freaking hell ,one great Hip-Hopper!Very Impressed cos he;s a big computer geek too!He works in Microsoft ,korea.

Yeah i jus came back from 7days korea trip! it was a wonderful vacation with my roomie once again! The highlight was, able to figure our way to meet up with our korean friend and to drop by our obba;s ice cream stall! yeah !

I am so busy. spend more time in lab than home. go home jus to shower sleep. sometime dont get to see my sis for a week.

but firstly need study well for tmr's quiz first. quiz in the middle of my report deadline..one word is STRESS! gona double up on my report after quiz. Bali Trip

the bali bomb site which killed nearly 200 ppl is right opp the above momument.
There are indeed alot of white people at bali.
Balinese are rumored to be the richest people in Indonesia. i think it;s true to a certain extend. bali have all sorts of americans/aust/canada brands.. Roots, krispy kreme! billabong, adidas, designer brands etc.. some are imitations tho. most of the stuffs are in US $. things are pretty expensive but nice tho.INdeed sucking the blood out of the tourist there.

Taking a short break .A chance to take photos. Our camera was out in a water proof bag attached to the raft. the total distance covered is 11km . took 2hrs.It a great experience. too bad it was low tide else will be more exiciting. At least it did not rain. sunny weather.I would wana go white water rafting again!

My last vacation in 2006.
2006 coul dbe considered my most memorable year. The 1st and last time i have travelled to so many places in the shortest period of time. My last destination was Bali.
The beaches not that fantactic.. the sands arent that smooth and soft .. the water kinda dirty.. CUBA beach is still the best beach i ve ever visited...
the only thing that marks my trip was the watersports.
tried white water rafting, parasailing and flying fish for the 1st time. check out the phtos below.

ANd what was scary was that rigth after i was back from indo. there was news of an Adam airline flight that crashed into a mountain. it was the same airline that i took to bali.. MAn.. i was go glad i came bk sound and safe.i even took a photo with the plane that i took. luckily it;s not the same plane.. *phew*

I was looking through old photos of my last vacation with my canadian friends in CUBA !!
Decided to post up some cranky and funny photos of me and my roomie!
I was really a greedy pig! Buffet for all three meals for the entire 7days there..
One time i took too much dessert and could not finish it.. i kept pestering my frez to help me have a bit of each .. end up the guys forcing the food into my mouth.. i tried to struggle la.. but to no avail! obviously...i;m overpowered!

hee.. this outdoor buffet at the resort.. the food was real good! XXL burger etc.. i ate alot alot.. i think i gain a few kgs jus by spending 7days at CUBA... haha.. this ;s my roomie ! i think she looks like a MOnkey with the banana and tongue sticking out! ( Babe dont bash me!)

Yeah officially end of exam! Finally my most brutal sem is over! This is my worse sem in my entire uni life! it; over over over@ yeah! Yup upcoming would be my interim report! deadline is next fri! I needa submit a 20pages report! i;m gona rest for one or two day more before i start my engine again!
Argh..my fyp robot is pissing me off... the com is still down.. argh.. hope it have some chances of revival. !
i fall sickone day after my last day of exam.. my body finally gave way to all the stress and lack of sleep... luckily it;s after exams already.. yup now i;m resting at home... i really love staying at home and do nothing! been ages since i ve done 'nothing"!!!!!!!!! slack ... sleep.. eat.. watch tv... yup mus cherish my last few days of slacking.. before i start pia-ing for fyp report..

I;m looking forward to my BALI trip end dec.. going white water rafting and water ski-ing ! How cool is that! I ve been wanting to do white water rafting!!!!!!!! Its damm cool! but i;m kinda scared! Hahah,, hope i wont topple off the raft badly and suffer brain concussion!! "touch wood"! yeah i;m looking forward to the adventure!

My Ah ma! She old and weak.. 83 yr old already... so glad that at least she gets to witness her youngest son ;s wedding... my ah ma is down with parkinson fro a efw yrs already..mentally she;s still going strong!
finally... the bride reached the groom;s place.. my cousin, valen opened the door for them. yeah u notice the red umbrella.. it;s a cantonese culture.. i dont understand what's the purpose of that although i did carried the red umbrella for my bf;s sis ...

yes their final hurdle.. my uncle and his brothers had to wear disposable underwear with the sequence of "I Love Polly", afterwhich all of them had to swing left right and repeat i love polly thrice. Hee.. quite funny!

26th nov 2007 sunday was my uncle;s wedding dinner at Msia. and i ve got exam on the following monday 1pm. Luckily the exam was my minor paper.. still manageable. I only slept from 3am to 8am on mon.. woke up early to study to pass my exam! yeah .. luckily what i studied came out ! hee.. Cool!

overall it;s really a tiring wkend. we had to wake up at 6am on sunday morning to be "sisters" at the bride;s place.. yeah there was quite a few rounds that the groom had to go thru before he could reach the bride! and of course we sisters had a big hongbao !

This is written in the sleepy sat afternoon!.... i am falling asleep soon.. but i cant... i mus finish my tut!!!!!! hope after blogging... it will perk me up a little...

Exam in 2 weeks... this sem is really a tough one .. fyp plus all core modules and minor etc... i still have 6 more photos to print before calling it an end to my photography course! cant wait to get over and done with it...

I am looking forward to 23 th Nov which is unoffically my last day of core exams!
I wana go for a haircut! eye brow trimming! shopping! facial! i need a break for sure before i start working on my fyp interim report which is due on 8th dec! needa write 15-20 page report which i have not started yet!

yup and right after my exam will be standard chartered full marathon!!!!!!!!!! Wish me luck with that...

i cant wait for my new birkis to come.. something to perk me up in the midst of exam preparation.. hahah..

Outing to National and Singapore Art Musuem

Hey! This's my photography elective class! The photo was purposely made black and white cos ouor course is on Black and white photography.

We visited National &Singapore Art Museum with our elective prof on Deepavali;s holiday. She made it complusory for all of us to go else needa submit more pages of report. It; my 1st time to the museums.. well.. quite an experience.. you see "no big deal" pictures and painting which worth so much.. hmm.. but undeniable some of the photos were really strong.. guys from PHO 240 will know what i mean by "strong" yeah.. strong intensity and emotions etc..

This class demands more time than any other elective that ive even taken... i.;m spending more time onthis than my fyp.. sounds ridiculous ...
this class is not brain taxing.. unlike any engineering courses.. but it requires me to use another side of my brain .!!!!.. creativity ? not.. it;s artistic sense... and it;s very subjective too..

The prof used to teach at NY uni.. she seemingly gets too much shocks after one yr teaching singpore students.. ppl over in states give her extreme emotion , nudity photos etc.. and here... she gets TEDDY BEAR.. haha.. ( not from our classs tho) some freshman class.. she;s kinda "shocked" in that sense.. Hilarious..
yeah now.. i;m improving on my usage on my other side of my brain!
A high Price ($) for this course~ spent alot on photo paper and file.. and TIME.. in exchange for a valuable experience! Hope prof will accepts all my photos soon!

Ha Xj found a job finally! In panasonic as software engineer.
really happy for him cos he has been sending out resumes like a daily routine since mid june..
I think he was lucky ...Apparantly, in his department, there;s no local but indian, phillipino, China(PHD holder) haha.. and he;s was an hongkonger. Indeed an multi-cultural working environment! Jiayou!

yeah.. i wish i have the luxury of time to meet up with friends everyday! Especially WCRI and waterloo friends! Keep in touch! Cheers

Dear all!
sorry for no updates for the past few mths!
yeah finally i;m doing it now!

Jus completed AHM yesterday in 2hrs 40 min there abt! haha.. i ran with a grp of non-competitive amry guys and i seriously think that i am much fitter than them! hha.. in terms of stamina ! Some started walking before they reach 5km, while some sprinted like mad in the beginning then punctures towards the end.
I managed to keep myself at a consistent pace throughout the whole race, I kept telling myself that if i were to stop once, i am surely gona stop again and again .. hence i must not stop to walk!Hee i am really very happy after the run! i think i am more mentally prepared for the upcoming standard chartered full marathon in dec!

Sch started for 3weeks! I like school in NTU! but i miss sch in waterloo,canada even more! hee
I bump into friends whom i ve never seen for 1yr! one sem industrial attachment and one sem exchange. feels like ive MIA for 1 yr ! Hee .. currently, iam busy with work (as usual) plus final year project! gearing up for the right pace for school since the "study-to-pass" sch life in canada!

I was glad that i manged to meet up with my roomie afew times! We always have alot of gossips and stories to share! Seeing her always rekindles the feeling of being in wcri, waterloo!-Babe cheer up!

After a long exhuasting climn! Yeah i toboganned al the way down ... i thought it was the last chance to tobagan in canada! But in japan shall be my last chance..

Finally..reaching the summit but we did not climb all the way cos we ran sort of time...
last cable car service was at 445pm

This the curry rice lunch we had when we reached the base camp. What an unforgettable lunch.. after a damm tiring hike up to the base camp.. it;s still not the end... still have to continue climbing after lunch .

Sweet Potato ball Counter in one of the subway station in Tokyo. The potato balls are delicious ! yummy!haha.. we approached this sales manager of a shop in 109 building in Shibuya. They artifically baked themselves , put on thick silver -based make up with brown-dyed hair..There are alot of such baked ladies in the 109 building stores, but we picked her cos me and my bf feel that she's the hottest babe! haha..Quite cool !

Complicated Tokyo Subway line. The subway line is crazy alot, operated by diff companies at the same station, it;s the greatest hurdle for my bf. Luckily , he;s fluent in japanese,(have to enquire at the station control all the time) else we'l never reach our destinations on time.

Butchart Garden is a very beautiful garden with varieties of flowers. It;s located at Victoria. We have to take a 1.5 hr ferry ride to there and follow by a short drive. Altogether we paid abt 60 for round trip ferry ride and entrance to thee garden. It really expensive but $ well spent! First time ever see such a beautiful garden, that willb be awesome if i can have my engagement there.. haha..CHeck out the plentyful of photos!

This 's the Deep Cove. My 1st kayaking experience in Canada! Renting of the kayak was freakin g expensive. 32 cad for 2 hrs. But the $ was really well spent!!!!!!! i never regret it. The scenery was breathtaking!(as you can see from the photos) Kayaking in the lake! And for the 1st time , i did not got myself damped from kayaking. Even managed to bring our camera with us. SWEET

It;s coming to an end of my exchange in Waterloo..
Everyone here complains that waterloo is a place for nerds cos the only attraction here is- the best University in Canada... Well.. i must say that it;s not the place that matters but more of the campanions and friends that you spend time with.I;m really blessed to i'm here in this winter term. . i had so much fun here especially at my residence WCRI. .these people simply
made my stay at Canada an unforgettable one. I;m gona miss this place so much so much.... well.. every one have to move on with their stage of life.. especially those (most) who are graduating this term.. what i can say is..these happy memories will always be vividly in my mind !!!!!!!.... lookin foward to Cuba trip with WCRI people!

End Of Term Dinner @ WCRI

End of Term (EOT) dinner is basically a party to celebrate end of term. We wil be served with better food compare to normal days. There was tasty choc and cheese cake... fresh shrimps.. tender well done steak. fried dumpling etc... oh men.. it was such a sumptuous meal ever! i started off with the dessert instead of main course.. the choc brownies was simply irresistible..Look?? how cani not put on weight???? evry day eat oily food.. it;s not that i want it but it ';s my meal plan!!!!!!!!1 I have tto loss it out when i;m bk to singapore! propabaly i need 1 sem to lose it.. pls dun comment that my face look like watermelon! haha.. right now i jus wanan enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well.. evry one is expected to dress up for the EOT dinner. As you can see from the pictures
some ppl did dresses up as some characters.. pirates, booty hunter..etc..

There's different awards given out during the dinner.. hee.. i was nominated for the bootylicious award and got the most votes..haha..i;k take it as a complement..

I was kinda scared to touch the dog, my roomie love them so much..

6dogs will be pulling the sled which is tied behind. There's willb one passenger and driver on the sled. passenger will be sitted while drive is standing behind the sled.

Dear all!

HAha.. finally got some time to blog!!!!! Sorry for being so lazy for the past few weeks!

I jus came bk from my 10 days road trip to northern part of canada_ Quebec, Montreal & Ottawa.

Quebec city is really a very beautiful place with old and nice historical structures..

wat did we do at quebec

- Sight seeing
- skating!
it was really an unforgettable ice skating experience!, it was a natural ice skatin ring accompanied with soothing classical music, plus that night was snowing lighly
feels like i;m in my dreamland! The ambience that i would never experience again in my life!

- Indoor amusement part
- DOG SLEDDING

Yeah ! End of mid term! i;m on top of e world mem!

Straight after my last paper at 630.. i went bk wcri for dinner 1st then join my frez (who;s alrdy there at 5) for ktv..Happy hrs is from 5 to 9pm...

The guy on my right is James.. he ;s really a cool guy.. he knows alittle bit of mandarin and japanese.. he worked in japan for a short period of time before and now he;s applyin to go china..he has so many interesting experience to share with us during meal time!

Ok on my left is my roomie kailing... nx to her is My wcri floor mate.. he;s mike Thompson..
He;s really a gd singer.. kinda memerise by his singing ! haha.. Well.. he;s in Choir (University of Waterloo) ..

Mike used to swim when he was in high sch..he can swim butterfly strokes!!! We were all stunned .!!!!. He showed us the strokes when we went swimmin tgt the previous time! Cool!

Ok after ktv.. we played squash from 930 to 1130pm.. a gd work out for me after 2 weeks of mugging.. argh.. the guy is from wcri.. he;s kinda wierd guy.. major in Computer sci but not frez-making..

Steam Boat At Cindy;s Place

Hey I;m frying nuggets.. somehow that day.. nuggets is metaphorically termed as "boyfriend"! hahah.. Joo love the nuggets that i fried.. she kept askin for it.. apparantly.. she;s dying for more flinks! Cheers!

It was a great lunch ever men.. after eating at WCRI for 1 mth plus.. well.. the preparation process was fun too... (check out the photos )
Too bad me & kailin had to leave at 330 cos we needa rush down to Toronto to watch the raptors game.. hv to thanks Joo Sara & cindy who helped to do the cleanin up ya..
N not forgetting.. the brownies that sara made was heavenly! Thanks babes... luv u all..

Wow.. this;a a wonderful experience! 1st time watchin a life NBA game.. it was the week b4 my mid term... i sacrific my precious time to watch the game cos it;s gona be once in a life time !.. not gona watch it again cos i;m not a big fan of basket ball mem...

We ( my roomie & WCRI frez) travelled 1 hr plus to downtown Toronto to watch the game.. it;s was really an eye opener.. well.. it;s a NBA game! Big deal! haha... ..the atmosphere was good.. its a home game.. so most of them cheered for raptors..n it was really a bonus for us cos raptor won n their points exceeded 100.. hence every one get free pizza! it was awesome!..

Mid Term Week

Argh.. as u can see... i haven been updating my blog for the past 2 week! I;m so busy & lazy!

But now i;ve got time to update my blog cos my mid term jus ended!
ok it;s really crap.. i;v got 5 mid terms in a week .. it;s craziness... i mugged like hell for the past one week.. hv been stayin in lib till 12pm.. for mid term week.. my biological clock got so messed up.. i woke up at 11am n sleeps at 430 am in the mrning.. it;s really amazing... i was tryin hard to catch up past assignments n tut for 5 modules.. hmm.. think i may fail 2 out of 5.. for HRM.. i did not study at all.. there was 45 MCQS & 45 True false.. wat the hell.. alot mem....

TOBOGANNING AKA Snow Rolling!

Toboganning was so so so fun!

Basically, we jus needa sit with our legs crossed on our survery's serving tray and slide down a small hill and crush into the snow at the bottom!

Pierre was so adventurous.. he actually brought a big steel thick plate instead of the normal serving tray.. the big steel plate was then used as a ramp at the bottom of the hill.. so when u slide down .. (provided you hit straight into the ramp) u will fly up with a projectile motioon n crush into the snow! Argh.. but i 'm always goin side ways when i slide down! .. cant experience that short adrenaline rush myself! in the end.. i took the "train ride" haha.. sandwiched betw the guys n slide down ! So cool.. i;m wana go toboganning again!hee..

Indoor Swimmin & WaterPolo @ PAC

Yeah finally i get to wear my bikini during winter!
Ytd nite meghan, pierre , walter (Friends from WCRI) and me went PAC at 10pm.. we swam for awhile before starting to play water polo at the deep pool.. i really sux at water polo cos i cant even swim well.. haha... i jus learnt how to swim 2yrs bk.well.. basically i;m jus a weak swimmer... feel so tired after few min of trappin water..hee.. hence i;m aways at the sideline hopin that my team mate wil pass the ball to me.. .. i kinda gets to panicky when i got the ball n ended up passing to our opponent.. argh... sharks..well..i had loads of fun though..
It's my 1st time playin water polo n swimming indoor at nite during winter! hee.. cool!

"GO" Train & Rouge Hill Station

Hey, this;s how the "GO train" Looks like.. can u see the word " GO" on the train?
This train has double deck, operates on an hourly frequency on wked, n leave on TIME! No delay at all!

This is a damm cool photo!I was in the GO Train, we were abt to reach Union station.. ( where CN tower is ) U can see reflection of my face in the glass panel & we managed to capture CN tower as well!

We had to 1st take a bus from waterloo to Subway Islington station.. then procced to Union station.. at union we hv to transit to another train -GO train. half an hr train ride wil bring us to "Rouge hill" STn which is where she stay. AFter which, we hv to walk abt 20 min to reach jo;s place! it;s so cool! her place is jus beside lake ontarion! we went pass alot of of nice houses too! check out the photos!

Mystery Murder Night @ WCRI

These ppl r the game organizer, starting the ball rolling for our mystery murder dinner!

Mystery Murder is a game.. similar to our "murderer & detectives" Prior to this dinner. we were told wat ;'s our character.. i was a figure skater..so before the game starts.. each of us was given a clue sheet with secrets of our character.. in order to solve the mystery of the murder , we hv to interact with every one to gather clues.. of course there were a few sub plots to distract ppl.. in the end.. unexpectedly... i turned out to be the murderer..haha...
Really enjoyed the dinner(pizza + Brownies) & the games cos ive made more new frezs!

Look at my new pair of heels that i bought here.. it;s only 14.5 CAD.. n my new brown coat.. only 10 CAD.. haha.. yeah men.. i;m all dressed up for SALSA dancing!

We went to a nite pub called "FLYING DOG" .. evry thursday nite.. it;s SALSA nite! Pior to this.. we had an elementary SALSA dancing lesson...
2 mexicans international exchange students taught us the basic moves before the nite out at FLYING DOG..

SALSA dancing is really tiring on my feets but it;s damm cool.. Gona try it again!

it;s for hockey!here in canada... it;s a mus to wear helmet & gloves during the game.. i played the game for only abt 3min .. argh.. i din expect that it;s that competitive.. evry one jus wana win on the court..oh well..they still wan me to join their nx game ..hahah... it;s a gd experience though.. the worse part was.. only after i reached the cour on that nite... my frez told me that usually in waterloo not much ladies play hockey.. Haha.. am i too gar rung again?

Long Flight Journey to Canada & New Yr Eve

Hi all.. finally i hv a blog. all thanks to steph who helped me created it before i flew off! *Huggz*

31st Dec reached the airport in the early mning 2am.. i was really sleepy but excited though.. hv to thanks my sis for fetching me to the airport ... shi , nis n my dear who came to the airport to send me off.. gers really appreciate that!

Had to transit at two place before reachin my final destination.. 1st at Narita 2nd at Detriot..
Upon landin at Narita.. i was perked up by the sigh of snow even though i was down w a bad flu! hee.... i feels like i;m in winter wonderland! =). ..following 6hrs flight to narita..was a 11hrs flight to detriot... i slept throughout the journey. .. hopin t i can recover from jet lag.. Transiting at Detriot(US) is damm ley chey.. my frez was retained by the custom cos they suspect that her passport is a fraud one.ARGH... so irritating when we had to rush to catch our next flight..

And finally we reached Toronto after an hr flight from detriot! It was really cold outdoor.. snow covering vehicles.. breath mist.. etc..n it;s time to put on my winter clothing!hee..

Finally.. the free shuttle came and pick us up to the hotel!Yeah!
Ard evening time.. we went downtown toronto for New Yr countdown in the winter wonderland!
